I started this picture a bit more than a year ago, when yonjuunana and jimnightmare came to visit.

Finally finished it this week.

Thanks. This is a stupid catch-22: I don't know whether I can trust people, but they can't even know what I'm trusting them to do or not unless I tell them. But then if I tell them clearly, the nearest asshole could come along and do the opposite of what I said.

I know it doesn't really matter because I could just delete the comment or something, but I don't want to be a jerk because sometimes people don't mean bad, they just make mistakes. You know?

And yeah, I wanna say you can trust me, but I guess I don't know that until I know what you'd be trusting me with... ha. Have to do things at your own pace.

I guess I could just be like a first-year who's heard all kinds of awesome stories about the stuff you've done and has no idea how many of them are actually true and how many of them are people's rumors making things sound more incredible than they actually are? :D

I don't know the personal mythology behind this picture, and I won't ask, although if you want to tell me anyway, that's cool. But just looking at the imagery makes me think of Cuchulain, or some other young hero, on zir first adventure, with shadows behind hir and an unknown void at zir feet. Zie shouldn't be afraid, though, because what lies ahead is filled with light...
