The Mac OS screen-reader and text-to-speech software reads the names of emoji as they appear in the text. E.g.: it pronounces “💗😢💜” as “pulsing heart, crying face, purple heart”, or “soft comfy 💜silk💖 is ealy” as “soft comfy [purple heart]-silk-[heart with stars] is ealy”.
