Oh yay! I'm always excited to see art from you, I still feel like I haven't seen very much. Cool to see more of Daria, this definitely gives me a clearer idea of what she looks like. I really like how you did their expressive postures and the details in the clothing and Cheyton's hands. My only critique is that something in the proportions of Cheyton's face look a bit off, like his nose and mouth are at a bit of a different angle than the rest of his face. (Not sure if you were looking for critiques or not. And I'm totally forgetting if I already said this to you or not, but I want to thank you for a critique you gave a while ago about my poses being stiff. I've been working on it since then and I think I've managed to get a bit better. At least I hope so.)

Sweet, thanks! I definitely want critique, from anyone who's out there. I'm frustrated with myself at the moment because the concept artists at work did a presentation of some of their recent stuff, and they were able to effortlessly make character designs with strong silhouettes and a ton of personality. You only had to look at these characters once and you could figure out what they were like as people. Even the silhouettes alone were clear. I don't even know how to describe it - they were realistic, but just cartoony enough to emphasize certain traits.

This pic was an attempt to figure out how the hell they pulled it off. Only partially successful. I'm still trying to get a character sheet of Dar together for you, but it's fricking harder than it sounds. I need to be able to do her expression in lots of different contexts, and about all I can do now is pissed off/determined.

And, you're welcome about the poses crit. This is a good reminder, though. If I see more stuff in your comics, I will tell you.
