/Happy Holidays because I don't know how many people there are here who celebrate holidays other than Christmas.



Our theme this year is cats... and fish and kodama and bears and any other animal we could find. :D I think there's even a reindeer on there somewhere.

:D Hey awesome tree! We got our fishy ornaments sitting here even though we don't really have a tree for them. We put christmas lights up on the loft bed though. XD

We used to hang Christmas lights around the bed in our college dorm just for fun. It was like mood lighting, where you could choose which colour(s) to plug in depending on how you wanted the room to feel.

Hey! We had fairy lights around our bed for a while, too. And around our bathroom mirror, like we were some glam film star from the 1930s at our dressingroom mirror :-D

KC's tree has a combination of "tasteful" little silver decorations, and chintzy fluffy animals that I bought her - including a Llama and a non-descript fluffy white squirrel-thing. ;)

Usually I do colour themes, like last year was orange/gold/copper, but this year we were just having fun wih it.

I wish you could send some of your snow our way. :P

I like how that tree has a theme! I didn't put up a tree in my apartment partly because my cat would try to eat it when I wasn't home. But my parents have a tree with a crawfish on it.

My mum said they could only decorate the top two feet of their tree this year because the kitten keeps attacking anything that's lower than that.

I didn't even know you could get crawfish ornaments! That's funny. Crawfish always remind me of the moon tarot card now, because it's such a strange symbol, the crawfish crawling out of the water to look at the moon, but apparently it really happens because they mistake the full moon for the sun.
