Wouldn't it be awesome if multis and other people who maybe have intricate inner worlds, had access to that technology ?
:D We're getting there... I'm interested in virtual reality research for that exact reason. They've got basic haptics now, and basic brain-computer interfaces (enough to move a cursor around with your thoughts).
I think more people could actually benefit from having an inside world and then taking small steps to manifest it in the outside world....but, that's just me.
No, I definitely agree. That's one of the things that bugs me, how hostile our society can be to that kind of thing.
